Put warning signs ahead of routine electrical requests

Your receptionist flags reported hazards before treating a call as a service request. It follows our safety script, then alerts the on-call person you select.

Reported danger

Sparks, smoke, shocks and burning smells trigger the safety script.

Different priorities

An EV charger quote follows your routine intake and booking rules.

After hours

Forward nighttime calls so urgent messages reach your designated on-call person.

Your receptionist asks what the caller is experiencing and gives reported danger priority over an appointment request. A burning smell at the panel needs a different response from an estimate for a panel upgrade. The AI uses your intake rules to flag urgency and collect a message for you.

For sparks, smoke, shock or a burning smell, the script tells callers to keep away and call 911. It also says to touch nothing, get everyone out first if smoke or flames, and switch the main breaker off only at a dry panel safe to reach. Your electrician receives the alert after those safety instructions.

Hear the safety script before the urgent handoff

The call starts with virtual assistant and recording notices. When the caller describes danger, safety instructions come first, followed by your chosen warm transfer or page.

Clear greeting

Callers hear that a virtual assistant answers and records the conversation.

Safety sequence

Keep away; touch nothing; smoke/flames: everyone out first; main-breaker off only with dry/safely-reachable panel; call 911.

Warm transfer

Your electrician hears a short summary and presses 1 to accept.

Your receptionist opens as your business while identifying itself as a virtual assistant and announcing the recording. It listens to the caller's description and follows the safety script when a hazard is reported. The safety message comes before routing the call to your team.

If you choose a warm transfer, the on-call person hears a short account of the problem before pressing 1 to take the caller. You can choose a page instead. An email and app push notification provide the urgency tag, summary, transcript and recording for your review.

Set the on-call order and your urgent call rules

You define urgent requests, choose who receives them and set the contact order during onboarding. Call forwarding determines which business calls reach your receptionist.

Your coverage

Forward all calls or choose busy, unanswered or after-hours calls.

Your contacts

Select the on-call person and the order for urgent call routing.

Your settings

Tell the AI in plain words when your business rules change.

Onboarding records your service area, hours, services and urgent call contacts. Tell the AI which requests your shop treats as urgent and whether to use a warm transfer or page. These business rules sit alongside the safety scripts for reported hazards.

Use the forwarding guide for your carrier or phone system, then make a test call before going live. Check that the intended person receives the handoff and that the summary reaches you. Our setup walkthrough explains the path from onboarding to forwarded business calls.

Keep diagnosis and emergency response with people

The AI receptionist handles intake and routing, not electrical diagnosis or emergency response. It gives no DIY wiring instructions and cannot promise an electrician's arrival time.

No wiring advice

Callers are not coached through repairs or electrical troubleshooting steps.

No dispatch promise

An urgent handoff does not establish when an electrician will arrive.

Review needed

Check summaries and keep a backup way for callers to reach you.

Your receptionist records what callers report without deciding whether equipment is safe to use. It does not walk someone through opening a panel, testing a circuit or repairing wiring. The product is not an emergency service or a substitute for 911.

An urgent tag helps your team recognize a call that needs attention. It does not establish a diagnosis or confirm that a technician is available. The AI can make mistakes, so review the call details and maintain a backup contact route for your business.

Try a burning panel smell in the browser demo

The browser demo lets you report a fictional burning smell or sparking outlet. Listen for the safety instructions before the conversation moves toward the electrician.

Describe a fictional burning smell and listen for the safety response.

Sparking outlet

Check that the conversation prioritizes safety rather than a repair walkthrough.

Use the electrical call demo with a made-up situation and a fictional business. Report a burning smell from the panel, then listen for instructions to keep away and call 911, with power shutoff mentioned only when safe. Do not use a real emergency to test the product.

Next, ask about an EV charger installation. Compare the questions and the order of the conversation. Once you have heard both, request a free trial by email. During onboarding, supply your own service rules and on-call details, then test your forwarding before business calls go live.

FAQ

Can it tell an emergency from an installation quote?

It uses the caller's description, your urgency rules and our safety scripts to flag the call. Reported sparks or smoke take priority over a quote request. The tag is an intake decision, so your electrician still reviews the situation and decides what work is needed.

Can it page my on-call electrician?

Yes. You can choose a page to your on-call person or a warm transfer, using the contact order you set. With a warm transfer, that person hears a short summary and presses 1 to accept. Configure the route during onboarding and check it with a test call.

Will it give callers DIY electrical advice?

No. The receptionist does not supply wiring instructions or coach callers through electrical repairs. For reported sparks, burning smells, shock or smoke, its script puts keeping away and calling 911 first, with power shutoff only if safe. It then alerts your on-call electrician.

How do I get the urgent call details?

We send an email and app push notification containing a summary, urgency tag, transcript and recording. Your dashboard also holds the call details for review. A daily digest email helps you review the day's messages alongside the individual alerts and urgent handoffs.

Can I keep my business number for emergency calls?

Yes. You keep your business number and forward calls to the local number we provide. Choose all calls or only busy, unanswered or after-hours calls. We provide a forwarding guide for your carrier or phone system, and you make a test call before going live.
